Columnist

I got my first picture byline in the Western Mail today. My mug isn't on the online edition, possibly with good reason (although I'm sure I'll post a pic here later, because despite what I said below, I am a narcissist - it's essentially my job at the moment to appear more confident in my abilities than I really am).

Anyway, one interesting thing I noticed, apart from the fact that the online version of the article appears to have been edited by something lower than a monkey, was that I had a proper online byline - instead of just being "Staff Reporter". This hasn't happened before. I'm not sure which approach is more laden with irony. So here you go - bask in reflected glory...

[Edit] So here we are, my ugly mug gracing the Men's Page of WM. Nice. To quote Claire Rees: "Is that you, Wil? You look like you're on the red carpet or something!"

On an unrelated note I'm using the word irony far too much. Weird.

Also, I started reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. So far pretty good, but his sentences are far too long for my attention span.

And, one more aside, my label cloud appears to be coping badly with the random nature of my blog and its tags. [/Edit]
